Modern Classes

Modern dance is a rhythmic dance style often seen on the stages of musical productions. It is known for it’s theatrical qualities, it uses traveling steps, kicks, leaps, turns and is a fun energetic dance style. We follow the I.S.T.D modern theatre dance syllabus. When students are in intermediate modern, the Jazz awards can be entered into.

Autumn Term 2026

Term starts – Week Beginning Tuesday 8th September

Half Term – Weeks beginning Tuesdays 20th & 27th October ( Two weeks )

End of Term – Week ending Friday 4th December
